Come join us Saturday as we open a few bottle off the shelves and have a chance to try before we buy! This is the line up for Saturday, March 11:
Airlie – 2021 Muller Thurgau
A variety of citrus abounds with notes of grapefruit and apple adding interest in this crisp and fruity Riesling cross. A highly approachable wine with a touch of fruit driven sweetness that pairs with just about everything. A year-round favorite that shines over the holidays. $17
Dearly Beloved – 2014 Red Wine Blend
The bottle is either creepy or beautiful. I want to lean beautiful! It is loaded with some of the best grapes; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Shiraz/Syrah. Rich and intense says the winemaker. Come find out how it has done 9 years after vintage. $15
Concannon – 2016 Merlot
The 2016 Concannon Merlot, Selected Vineyards, Central Coast is bright red/magenta in color. Dark cherry, cassis, and raspberry fruit flavors combine with spicy, smoky, toasty oak on the nose and follow through on the palate. Dark chocolate integrates well with these Merlot flavors, giving this wine good length and lively tannins on the finish.
Enjoy with beef pot roast, filet mignon, braised leg of lamb, prosciutto wrapped shrimp, or other favorite red meat or veal dishes. Dark cherry, cassis, and raspberry fruit flavors combine with spicy, smoky, toasty oak on the nose and follow through on the palate. Dark chocolate integrates well with these Merlot flavors, giving this wine good length and lively tannins on the finish. A great value Merlot! $8
Vina San Pedro 1865 Selected Vineyards – 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
Ruby red color with purplish hues. Elegant aroma, subtle yet potent, with ripe cherry and plum, hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Concentrated palate and round tannins. Flavorful and persistent finish. The people who assign points gave this wine 90 plus points. $15
