Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of slightly herbal sweet black fruit/cassis & slightly earthy.
On the palate, full bodied tart black fruit, blackberry/cassis/boysenberry, herbaceous, tobacco/chocolate, well integrated oak, high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to pepper & a chalky minerality.
Third bottle consumed & very consistent, pleasant flavor. Balanced, good complexity & very well crafted wine at this price point!
