Our 2022 Rosy Cheeks is a balance of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Tempranillo. So, look at you enjoying a wide range of grape varietals - even the big reds. When it comes to residual sugar, this is at 4.8%, but my winemaking style is to always make sure there is an acidic backbone so the texture of this wine is refreshing. You will certainly notice the semi-sweetness to the wine, but you will not be overpowered by it.”
This saignée method rosé is a blend of 57% Pinot Noir, 18% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Gris, 7% Syrah and 3% Tempranillo. Its pink grapefruit and guava aromas come across as tart, while its peaches sprinkled with sugar and lemon drop hard candy flavors reminded me of a refreshing Moscato d'Asti. — Michael Alberty
